L or K?
Hi all,
I've played guildwars for a while now, just never factions. I got it yesterday and i'm at Arborstone with my Para. My question is which side is the easiest. Luxon or Kurzick? Thanks |

I always thought the Luxon side was the easiest, I can actually SEE what I'm doing there.
Also the most fun, imo. |

Seems like there's less popups in Luxon areas too.
Same amount of enemies, but you can who's about to rape you instead of being surprised by it. Damn Saltspray Dragons... |

If you are looking for faction go Kurzick. The fast faction farm out of Lutgardis Conservatory is the quickest of the 3 most popular.
If you are talking about mob difficulty I again say Kurzick is easier. Our alliance just switched to Luxon to begin collecting faction on that side and the scenery is definitely better. |

have to go Luxon really...IMo the missions are easier in the Luxon side - Gyala Hatcery is easier then Eternal Grove in the opinion of quite a few ^^
you can do both anyways, but for just running through the game I would say Luxon - nicer scenery, easier to navigate, easier missions, generally easier... hope that helps! payne |

I've found that getting to 10k faction for befriending, without doing AB, the Kurzick side is easier. More quests that give faction rewards.

Easier?
I would say Luxon. Mainly because of Gyla Hatchery being a breeze. But as for Pain Inverter against the Saltspray Dragons, whilst very effective it only works when the damage is inflicted. So is nice if the damage is afflicted on some minions and not your party. So bring both. But to be honest I am guessing if ya can't decide which way to go first, then ya probably haven't even got EOTN let alone Pain Inverter.

Since you can eventually do both sides it would be logical to base your first choice on the following.
Elite skills which area has the elites you want to collect first. Armour style which armour design do you want Asthetics which appeals more rocky forested areas or the jade sea and beaches. |

I think my first seven characters were all Kurzick... and I had never really gotten into the Luxon side of things. When I started going for my titles, and had to chart, vanquish, and complete missions on the Luxon side, I started to realize what I had been missing (A whole friggin area of the game that was much easier than the Kurzick side).
Some pros to the Kurzick side... hfff, less running traveling, easier to befriend them. Some cons, dark areas, degen like you wouldn't believe, difficult missions (difficult... I didn't say impossible... the trolls may be listening). Some pros to the Luxon side... easily completable missions. Less mobs and pop-ups, easy navigation, really good ABers (Most new players never hit the Luxon side of things because they either don't know about the Luxon side or they just follow whatever is closest to them (Kurzick), so you get a lot of idiots on the Kurzick side. Some cons, much more difficult to max the Luxon title (Kurzick can be done extremely fast if you like to grind), I hate the colors on their side (personal distaste, and I am sorry if you don't care about it, however, I hate that foamy green scenery), harder to find pugs for missions on the Luxon-side (easily offset because you can h/h anything on the Luxon side. |

I would usually go down the side with the best elite skills, but since you're paragon, that hardly matters.
I vote luxon anyway.

well.... which allegience does your guild have??
I think what I always did was "befriending the luxons" just thru my AB faction... then I quested out the faction for the Kurzick side (you will want to check out these quests if you want the BLACK MOA, but other than that it doesnt matter) Do Both IMO |

Initial choice .... doesn't really matter that much.
Eventually, do both sides. It's nice to have them both open if you want to go for titles. |
